Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 25, 2026

This policy explains what happens to data when you use ToolScope. It is deliberately short.

The default: no tracking

This site works fully without cookies or tracking. On your first visit, no analytics load and no data about you is collected beyond the standard server logs needed to serve pages (which are retained briefly and are not used to profile you).

If you accept the consent banner, we load Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymization to understand which articles are useful — page views, approximate region, device type. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set. You can change your choice any time by clearing the site's storage in your browser.

Advertising (only when enabled)

If display advertising is enabled in the future, ad partners may set cookies subject to the same consent gate. We do not run ads that require reading this site's content to target you personally.

Newsletter

If you subscribe to the newsletter, we store your email address with the newsletter provider solely to send the newsletter. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. We never sell or share the list.

Comments and accounts

We do not operate user accounts or comment systems, so there is no profile data to protect.

Data we never collect

  • No payment data (purchases happen on provider sites).
  • No identity documents, no precise location, no contact lists.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, under the EU GDPR), you may have rights to access or delete personal data. Because we collect almost none, the practical scope is limited to newsletter emails — contact us via the contact page and we will handle it.

Changes

Material changes to this policy will be announced on this page with an updated date above.

This is a starter policy drafted for launch. Have it reviewed for your specific jurisdiction and business details before relying on it.
